At our gallery, Craft NSW, we have a wonderful display of gold and silver jewellery, some featuring Australia's national gemstone, the opal.
Craft NSW, is open 7 days a week, 9.30 to 5.30 and is situated in Sydney's historic Old Coroners Court. Visit us to find unique handmade gifts, wearables, collectables and souvenirs of your visit to Sydney.
Because of our wealth of exhibiting members, you will find our range of craft quite eclectic, including traditional craftwork such as baskets, treadle machine embroidery, woodblock prints, weaving, and handspuns, to contemporary wool felting, modern machine embroidery and applique.
To see the variety of styles and techniques available to today's Australian arts and crafts, click a link to go straight to the craft of your choice, check out our members, follow our site map, or search our site.
Because the majority of our handcraft is one-of-a-kind and original, we do not sell directly on the internet, but in many cases we can arrange a special order. Just phone or email us and we will try to help you with your needs. And for your convenience we have attached a fax back order form.
At Craft NSW, we also hold special displays of members' work or feature just one handcraft; bigger pieces such as rugs and wall hangings, all made by our members as exhibition pieces. From time to time we also hold special exhibitions with invited craftworkers or craft guilds and organisations.
The Society of Arts and Crafts of NSW is a not for profit organisation, incorporated in 1929.
