Our 2007 ABC Knit-In was very successful, we hope that our 2008 event will be even more so, please keep free our diary date, Friday 1st August 2008.
Remember, our volunteers are our bottom line, so please return your 2008-2009 registration. Without you we could achieve nothing.
Finished Wraps, knitted squares and yarn is sent to us by our craftworkers and community helpers from all over Australia. Their delivery to our office-warehouse in Sydney relies on a network of Area Contacts and Drop-Off depots.
Area contacts nominate themselves as willing to coordinate and communicate regularly with volunteer workers within their Post-code area. Area contact's organisational skills help to get squares and completed Wraps from the community to our warehouse in Sydney, where they are sorted and packed. They can answer most craft enquiries.
Plus - this year 'The Knit-In' is expanding to five simultaneous locations; Hornsby RSL, ABC Central Coast Erina, ABC Dubbo, ABC Wagga Wagga

Drop-Off Depots do not answer craft questions, nor do they offer a Wrap collection service. They can supply a location for delivery of your squares or Wraps. Phone or write to us at the address below for information on your nearest area contact or drop-off centre.
You can also post Wraps, yarn and squares to Post Office Box 10, Gardeners Road, Rosebery, 1445.
Or you can personally drop them off to our Sydney warehouse, Unit 4, 4 Huntley Street, Alexandria NSW on Wednesdays and Fridays, 10.30 am to 2.30 pm.

From our warehouse in Alexandria, NSW, over forty non-denominational and non-political aid agencies distribute them to those in greatest need.
We have no annual membership fee and rely on an Australia-wide network of caring volunteers to knit, assemble and transport Wraps.
