When visiting the old mining town of Yerranderie, now a National Park reserve, I was fascinated by the bark hut of Mrs Barnes Boarding House. In the lean-to kitchen with earthen floor stood a timber cabinet with willow pattern ware.

This is a snippet of Mrs Barnes' story.
