Artist and designer Carolyn Cabena is attracted to the uniqueness of the Australian native flowers and her sketches are translated onto hand drawn printing screens. To make her original range of shawls and scarves these screens are printed onto silk velvet or satin with a resist and then dyed in vibrant colours to show the sheer, lacy qualities of devore.
