Curled Couple Wood Sculpture hand carved Leon Straker

This sculpture captures the interconnection between two people in a loving relationship. The wood is salvaged river redgum railway sleeper, possibly from the famous Ghan train track crossing the Australian central lands from Adelaide to Darwin. The very smooth burnished natural oils finish invites stroking. The piece provides a calming and connecting presence suited to coffee tables, mantlepieces, dressers or bedside tables. It sits on a base of felt.

Dimensions:  31 cm long

Care Instructions: The sculpture is very easy care, appreciating being stroked and wiped with natural furniture oil every year or so.
