Hand dyed Viscose/Silk Shawl by Yaja Hadrys

This originally white shawl was dyed in strong logwood natural dye and then printed with plants gathered around Sydney. The plants were first arranged and then wrapped in the cloth and steamed for 3 hours. The end result of my magic collaboration with Mother Nature is pure alchemy, always unpredictable and impossible to reproduce. That's why each piece is totally unique! So light and soft, it can be worn as a wrap, big scarf or as a top in summer.

Size: 70cm X200 cm

Colour: Very dark purple with some light purple and nude print.

Materials: Viscose/ Silk and plants as natural dyes

Care: Hand wash in warm water with gentle soap.
