Hand dyed Viscose/Silk SHAWL by Yaja Hadrys

This originally white shawl was dyed in green tea and then printed with plants & flowers gathered around Sydney. The plants were first arranged and then wrapped in the cloth and steamed for 3 hours. The end result of my magic collaboration with Mother Nature is pure alchemy, always unpredictable and impossible to reproduce. That's why each piece is totally unique! So light and soft, it can be worn as a wrap, big scarf or as a top in summer. In this case, the bright colours are very different to all the other colour combinations I've been making so far.

Size: 70 cm X 200 cm

Colour: Yellow beige, yellow grey, bright orange, brown, pale green.

Materials: Viscose/ Silk and plants as natural dyes

Care: Hand wash in warm water with gentle soap.
