Oil crayon collage - Uluru Sunset by Jan Spencer
Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park Northern Territory, Australia.
Oil crayon collage on artboard, sealed with archival varnish (signed, d rings and hanger) 20x25cm
Jan Spencer's oil crayon collages are inspired by drawings made while walking and cycling in Australian national parks and also overseas. Jan completes the works in her studio using oil crayon on coloured papers which are torn, pasted on art panels and sealed with varnish. The thick dense crayons play with the torn edges of the coloured papers.
