Twining is a technique used throughout the world because it is strong, adaptive and creates beautiful forms quickly.
We will transform foraged fibres into the elegant open weave basket, allowing students to fully absorb the flow of this simple technique.
In this 2 day workshops students will play with twining to create different styled baskets or sculptural objects.
Twining is a great technique that students will return to in their own practice.
"I am a fibreartist/basketmaker from Byron Bay & have been teaching and making baskets for over 23years. I use locally foraged materials as my preference."
