"Pitha Pitha 2" ( Möbius ) hand carved in Murrumbidgee River Cooba by Hape Kiddle.
Pitha Pitha is an aboriginal word for rain drops. In Māori it is pata pata, and English pitter patter. I have combined the möbius, an en-ending form that is one sided and yet dimensional, with the water droplet form. For it is in the rain that brings forth the cycle of life.
Size: 175 x 120 x 50 mm
