If you have had the introductory course in spoon carving, then you need to get to the "Next Level" We will learn how to care for and sharpen the tools. Then of course you get to hone those new skills in carving to make a new spoon!! Please note this class will be held in the Blue Mountains.
Come and take the journey with us from tree to spoon. Your teachers, Jill and Georgina will revise tool safety and basic axe and knife techniques to get you continuing on your spoon carving adventure. Working alongside a group of others in a supportive environment, you will spend the day carving your own spoon from locally sourced wood. Enjoy the practice of mindfulness and stillness while creating a practical, useful and beautiful object. All tools and materials are provided, just bring along your enthusiasm. (Minimum age 16 years)
