Summer Scarf in silk chiffon hand dyed by Neelam Singhal. I began with a black piece of silk chiffon fabric. Katano Shibori was my inspiration to make the OG design for this scarf. First I folded fabric lengthwise in concertina folds. Then I drew the pattern(as I understood) with a tailor's chalk on the folded piece. Followed by discharge and dyeing in acid tangerine dye, washing, ironing and finishing with hand hemming of the edges. Hope you will enjoy this flowing, soft, light and original scarf in your wardrobe as much as I enjoyed making it for you.
Size: 170cm x 78 cm
Care: Gentle/ hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Dry Shibori pieces under indirect sunlight. Warm iron.
