Wooden box "Leaves Again" hand made by Jo Ann Hopkins

Wooden box hand made by Jo Ann Hopkins. This box is made of oak that was salvaged from a winery in Mudgee, New South Wales.  The top is a design of gum leaves which I drew for a botanical painting.  The leaves are made from a variety of wood veneers and they are laid in a background of black veneer.  I call it “Leaves Again”  The box and the tray bottoms are lined in black velvet.  The box can be used for jewellery or love letters or it can sit on your desk with pencils and pens and paper clips and unpaid bills and notes.

295 mm x 158 mm x 83 mm

Clean the wood with a good quality furniture polish and buff with a clean cloth.  Keep out of direct sunlight.
