Wooden Marquetry by made by Jo Ann Hopkins. This body of this box is made of cedar with marquetry leaves made of pressure-dyed veneer. The design is taken from one of my botanical paintings of gum leaves and gumnuts. Our eucalyptus is a never-ending source of subjects and so – sometimes unexpectedly – beautiful.
