" Firewheel Tree" hand painted silk scarf handmade by Jane Hinde. This is a hand painted long silk scarf using acid-based dyes which are steam-fixed making it fast to light and washing. The design is drawn with gutta - a mixture of paraffin wax and rubber cement - and this acts as a barrier to the dyes spreading.
Size: 28 x 160 cm
Care: scarves should be hand washed in warm water - separately is best - and a warm to hot iron whilst still damp.
