'My interest in fashion and textiles is the inspiration to create my own unique fabrics experimenting with a variety of dyes and techniques on silk and cotton to style into garments and accessories. Changing the print placement my aim is to create and capture the spirit and rhythm of natural design. Over-dyeing and discharging the dye using shibori methods of resist adds a further dimension to the finished result and gives me variations of colour with texture.
My artcards are mini assemblages of pressed flowers and leaves collected on walks around my region in Sydney and assembled onto a painted background'
