Naturally Dyed and printed scarf by Pam de Groot

This scarf is naturally hand dyed with madder root and printed with Oxalis leaves and stems from my garden.  The wonder that is plant chemistry creates this unique patterning.
The scarf is sewn by me from a bolt of crepe de chine silk. All edges are with silk thread so the whole will dye at once.

Size : 35cm x 180 cm
Material : 100% silk crepe de chine
Colour : madder red, orange.
