"I became a professional craftsman by following a high school hobby. Using observation, I acquired basic skills. This was followed by three years part-time studying art at East Sydney Tech and three years studying hand-made shoe making.
I had two shops, one in Newcastle and one in Sydney.
I explored design and leather working in Italy and have spent some time participating in and organising craft events overseas and in Australia.
My best time is spent in research and exploring new directions in the evolving area of design in leather and honing my skills and finding new ways to make my pieces, large and small."
